      Santhome Communications has installed Nuendo digital computerised recording facility. It enables flexible, easy and advanced recording, in terms of sound quality, operation, and number of tracks. Besides the latest sound recording facilities the Centre also has 8 tracks and 16 tracks Analog and Digital Studios for production of audiocassettes and Radio Programmes. Apart from the centre’s own needs the studio is rented for other religious and private organisations for music production,                                                      video dubbing, re-recording.

Video
     The centre is equipped with an analog edit suite with Hi-band and Beta Equipments. The facilities cater to the needs of the religious and social service institutions in their video production. The centre has assisted various religious congregations to document their history and activities on video.

The centre’s productions include
       Videos on Gospel themes,
       On Sacraments,
       On social themes,
       On media education and
       On video production techniques.

The centre is engaged in translating an English serial on Bible and a video series named In the Foot Steps of Christ into Tamil. This effort will aid the centre’s evangelisation process through media. Two tele-serials are also under production based on Gospel and social themes intended to be telecast over two popular satellite networks in Tamil.

Media Awareness Programme
     The centre conducts media education workshops for the public. The mini – theatre within the premises is used to screen films and videos during the workshop.
