Media Education
      The programme aims to create awareness about the impact of media on the individuals and society. Targeted at school students and teachers, it helps the participants to develop, a critical thinking skill that will enable them to make independent judgements about media content.

Development Communication
      Realising the potential for using communication to further development, the centre is involved in training numerous personnel associated with non-governmental and voluntary organisations. The programme inculcates among its participants an ability to analyse, access and produce media, which in turn enables them to use media as a tool for development in their vocation.

Religious Communication
      The programme attempts to rekindle the enthusiasm for service among the religious. The course on religious communication is offered to nuns at various levels.

Pastoral Communication
      The priest in every parish plays a multiple role of a leader, preacher and counsellor. As part of their ministry, priests are bound to interact with a large number of people, hence they need to develop good communication skills. The centre organises specialised training programmes on pastoral communication to the deacons of various seminaries.

Value Education, Leadership Skills
      To lead a peaceful and meaningful life, one has to abide by the social norms and values. Living in a community needs Co-operation, Collaboration and Team-work. Emphasizing the above needs, programmes on value education and leadership skills are organised for students, religious and social workers.

Integrated course on communication
      In today’s competitive world, effective communication skills are vital for success both personally and professionally. Recognising the value of effective communication skills, the centre organises an integrated course on communication for the religious and laity. The course arms the participants with effective writing, speaking, and public relation skills. The participants are also trained in audio and video production techniques.

Photography and video Production Techniques
      Students belonging to communication departments of various universities and colleges are trained in photography and video production techniques at the centre.
